Aldi’s Version Of Pixi Glow Tonic?

I’m back with a new skincare post, again. I recently did a post about some moisturisers I can’t live without at the minute and I’ve added a new product into my skincare routine that I’m surprisingly loving.

I’d be lying if I said I took my skincare routine seriously. I’ll wash my face and then put some moisturiser on, most days, and be done with it. Partly it’s because I’m lazy and the other part is that I get worried in case products have a bad reaction to my dry and sensitive skin.

One product I’ve been wanting to get hold of for the longest time is Aldi’s version of the Pixi Glow Tonic. Every single time I’ve been to Aldi I’ve been down the beauty aisle in search of the Lacura Healthy Glow. Aldi does have a website where you can see most things the stock in terms of their beauty, a lot of dupes for higher-end products, but sadly not a lot of it is available to order. I did, however, find it in the middle of a pandemic and although it’s not a necessity it still went in my basket. It costs £3.99 for the bottle whereas the Pixi one comes in at around £18. I can’t compare the two as I’ve never tried Pixi Glow Tonic but I wanted to share my thoughts on the Lacura version.

You apply this with a cotton pad after cleansing, I use the Dermalogica Cleansing gel, and I tend to use 2 cotton pads. A lot goes a long way with this. I assumed that it might’ve been a little oily but it’s really not. It’s refreshing, hydrating and I do think it brightens up your skin instantly!

I’ve been using this for about a week now in a skincare routine which is seriously working for me. Obviously, you don’t need to include a glowy toner in your routine but sometimes it’s nice to have the added extras in brightening up your complexion. For someone who really struggles to find products that work with my skin, like I always mention, it’s reacted so well. It’s not made my skin feel tight, irritated and when I do all steps in my routine I wake up without a dry face which is a miracle.

Have you tried to this product? Or have you tried the Pixi version? Let me know your thoughts on them!
