In my (almost) 3 years of blogging there’s been a lot of areas I’ve struggled with from going self-hosted to becoming a pro at Pinterest. As much as Google can help with the logistics, nothing is better than getting help and guidance from fellow bloggers. I thought I’d put together a list of links of really helpful guides on a range of topics all from different bloggers I read! Make sure to give them a follow as well.
The first, probably most resourceful, post you need to read is from Jenny who runs a lifestyle blog at Jenny In Neverland. This blog post, as described, is a one-stop-shop for all your blogging needs. There are links to other posts that Jenny has written from blogging discussions, social media tips, how to grow your blog and helpful posts for newer bloggers! She’s been blogging for about 6 years and also has Ebooks on a few different blogging topics.
Lauren Ann is someone I’ve followed pretty much since I started my blogging journey. Over the years she’s produced some really helpful content for bloggers including a guide to Pinterest. If you utilise Pinterest right then you can gain and grow a lot of traffic to your blog, so have a read of Lauren’s blog post as it does have some super useful tips! On the topic of Pinterest, Bryony wrote up a blog post of the best Pinterest boards for bloggers.
For something a little less admin, Bexa who is probably the Queen of blogging wrote a post about flat-lay blogging props. I’ve always been a massive fan of her blog photography and I’ve used this post as a guide at trying to perfect my flat-lays. She suggests things like magazines, polaroids and even a computer keyboard! Give it a read if you’re after some inspiration.
If you’re heading off to your first blogging event any time soon or fascinated to find out about any tips then if you head to Black Tulip Beauty the lovely Alice speaks about tips you might need when you do attend your first blogging event, something I’d wished I’d read before I attended mine!
One final post you need to read is how to go about securing brand collaborations. I met Alice at a blogging event and she’s so lovely. She’s got a few different blog posts about blogging advice but this about brand collaborations gives you a little bit more of an insight into brand collabs, 100% worth checking out!
I hope these few blog posts give you any advice you may need in growing your blog! Have you got any blog posts that have helped you loads? Let me know!
