I think one of the best things about being a blogger is not only the connections you make with other bloggers but with all the amazing people who run small businesses. Back in 2018 (May & January) I did 2 blog posts where I showcased some of my favourite small businesses that I’ve found through the blogging community of Twitter.
When an opportunity popped up on Facebook to review Megan’s artwork off her Etsy store I was more than happy to help promote her store and her gorgeous artwork. What makes it even better is that Megan also runs her own blog which you really need to check out!
Megan mainly specialises in watercolour artwork pieces and stocks cards as well as mini canvas prints on her store which are all available in different sizes. The piece that I picked out was the Purple Galaxy watercolour painting because of my love for purple aesthetics. Megan informed me that she’d start on the painting for me and to allow 5 days for delivery. She started the piece on 5th February and it had arrived by 14th February.
Hand-painted artwork is more special than ordering manufactured prints off mainstream websites, especially when you know that you’re lining the pockets of someone who is 110% invested and involved in what they make and sell. The A5 print will be the perfect addition to my artwork wall which includes work from other artists and small businesses.
You can see what else Megan has to offer on her Etsy by clicking here and give her Facebook page a like. She’s also kindly given me a discount code for you guys to get 25% off, just use the code DIARYOFELLIE25 at checkout!
