I’m lucky and fortunate enough to have had a summer holiday every year since I was born, whether that be to a Haven caravan site in Devon or an all-inclusive package holiday to Spain. My favourite holiday destination is 100% Cyprus, both parts of the island (Paphos & Larnaca) are so lovely and I hope to visit there for a 4th time.
From all of my travelling with my family i’ve accumulated a tin full of souvenirs, but not the snow globe kind. I’ve always loved to collect things like boarding passes, unused plastic knives & forks from airplane meals, spare change from different currency and excursion tickets. I’ve never done anything with them I just like to keep them in the tin and look at them every so often. But when The Nomad Factory got in contact with me to review their travel journal it got me thinking I could use it to stick in all of my unconventional souvenirs!
Who are The Nomad Factory?
The Nomad Factory are a London based company who specialise in leather journals, sourced from Yorkshire, for the use of bullet journalling or travel journals. They pride themselves on their fully recyclable packaging like using 100% cotton on the drawstring bag that the journal comes in, paper shredding in the box as well as accessories that come in little gift boxes which are perfect to reuse. Their journals come in a range of different colours from black to purple and also supply bullet journal trimmings like metal clips, stencils and extra fillings for the journals.
The Travel Journal
Although the journals are mainly advertised for documenting your travels, you could also use it for bullet journaling or as a diary. It includes blank pages, grid pages and inserts to store keepsakes. It’s easily kept shut by a band that goes around the journal to keep your memories safe. The journals do retail at around £39.99 but at the moment they’re on sale for £29.99!
I can’t wait to add more to the journal and start filling it up with souvenirs. It’s the perfect kind of journal for anyone who loves scrapbooking and documenting their travels and with Christmas coming up, it’d make the perfect present for a craft lover. You can follow The Nomad Factory on Instagram as well as Twitter and Facebook!
