What I got for my 19th Birthday!

Today it’s the 1st April, or Easter Sunday, and it’s my birthday. It’s not my birthday when you’re reading this but I had such a good day and it was really relaxing. I thought that i’d show everyone what I got and I hope that you like these kind of posts. I’ll do my best to let you know where each item is from, unless I don’t know!

As you get older I think that it’s harder to think of ‘main’ presents that you want for your birthday which means you get less presents to open. I originally wanted just money off my family for driving lessons but I know that I did want at least one present to open on my actual birthday. I was browsing Amazon when I saw a camera lens that was around £80 reduced from £300 which is obviously a crazy discount so I put it on my birthday list. It’s the Canon EF 75-300 mm f/4.0-5.6 III Lens and the zoom is so good on it! I go to zoo’s quite often and really wish my kit lens would zoom a little more.IMG_4658.JPGSince this was the only thing i’d really asked for off my Mom (and Dad who doesn’t have a say in what I get) she got me a few little surprise gifts like a cute Pusheen shirt and Pusheen slipper socks from Primark. She then got me a card and a little gift from our puppies to say thank you for looking after them which I thought was super cute. It was a bunny cushion from Wilkinsons. My Mom is also giving me some money towards driving lessons.IMG_4664The final present from my Mom was the cutest pink coloured handbag from Tesco of all places! It’s a sturdy little bag with quite a lot of room inside. I don’t really have a proper handbag so I thought that’d be useful to have. IMG_4652.JPGOff my Nan I got some money and a cute set of earrings from Warren James. The earrings are a small pair of shiny studs as well as some little dimante tiny hoops! IMG_4651.JPG

From my boyfriends family I got some money and from my boyfriend I got some more money as well as some presents that i’d asked for. I got the return to Tiffany’s mini double tag necklace in pink which is the most daintiest, cutest thing I have ever owned as well as Dior addict lipgloss in the shade Princess and Christian Louboutin nail polish in the shade Pluminette. I’d asked for these things so although I knew what I was getting I was still SO excited when I actually opened them.

In terms of presents, that’s pretty much it and i’m very grateful and thankful for everything everyone got me. I’m also so amazed and happy that so many of my Twitter followers said happy birthday to me! I feel like the best present of them all was a personalised birthday cake from an amazing brand called bakerdays, accessible here! They were looking for bloggers on Twitter to review their products and because I love cake, I thought why not. They got in contact and I picked out the birthday cake I wanted. You can completely customise the huge selection of cakes whether you want a traditional sponge cake, chocolate or even red velvet. You can change the writing on the actual cake and add your own images.

IMG_4613.JPGThe actual cake looks so cute but that’s not the most important thing- the taste is. I’m not a big fan of traditional birthday cake with jam and all that so I opted for a chocolate cake it did not disappoint. It tastes amazing and i’m so glad that I didn’t eat it all in one go! If you want to get your hands on one of these personalised cakes, or even cupcakes you can access their website here and you can get 15% off if you use the code THEDIARYOFELLIE15 at the checkout!

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I got for my birthday as much as I enjoyed receiving them!
