I don’t think I’ve ever done a favourites, but this one is a collab with the lovely Lana from Twitter and her blog post which is linked here! She accidentally uploaded her early so mines a little late but go and check hers out!
The first favourite of mine this month is these extremely cool Minion edition BeanBoozled by JellyBelly. The company very kindly sent me a box of them to try out and they’re such a fun little game. If you’re not familiar with BeanBoozled they’re like a trick or treat game all year round. The packets have all of the really nice bean flavours by JellyBelly and some really horrible ones like dead fish, rotten egg and spoiled milk. However, the catch is that the nice and nasty ones are in pairs of the same colour so you don’t actually know which one you’ve got until you try it. The Minion edition, as you can guess, has 2 extra flavour pairs in; Minion fart or Green apple and Pencil shavings or Ba-na-na. Of course, for any Minion/Despicable Me lover you’ll love the cute Minion packaging! The nice ones like Tutti Fruitti are so nice but then the nasty ones like vomit… well they’re not very nice. I love the idea that you don’t know what you’re going to get!
The Morphe 35O2 Second Nature palette has been something i’ve been loving a lot lately. The red and orange shades are seemingly quite popular at the moment and after I tried them out and experimented with them, I was really feeling them. A nice orange in the crease and then a more subtle tone on the lid looks so pretty and i’ve used this palette so much in February. The next favourites this month is the Too Faced melted matte liquid lipstick. I think I got this in January but these are seriously my go to lipstick. I have the shades Queen B and Child Star– i’m aware both are very similar. They go so well with any kind of makeup look, apply smoothly and dry quickly. Take it from someone who has really dry lips, they are not drying whatsoever!
I have a few other little favourites such as Matety’s chocoalate marshmallow cereal which i’ve been eating religiously, puppy training pads from Wilkinson’s which are the best ones for a small budget and i’ve found my love for The Sims 4 which I feel as though i’m addicted to again…
Something I’d never used or bought or even got on the hype of a few years ago was the beauty blender. I didn’t see the point of it but when I got the Revolution concealer I needed something to blend it with and when I picked up the 2 pack from Superdrug, I felt like a changed woman. I still love using brushes for applying foundation but for blending this has changed my makeup game, I really like it!
